D.R. Horton - Schuler Division is a kama'äina company with deep roots in Hawai'i. The company has been building homes in the Islands since 1973 under Schuler Homes - founded by long-time Hawai'i resident Jim Schuler - helping make home ownership possible for thousands of families in Hawai'i. In 2002, the company merged with D.R. Horton, Inc. of Fort Worth, Texas, combining Schuler's local expertise with D.R. Horton's national resources.
