PARKS AND RECREATION

Edwin and Percy Warner Parks: Collectively known as “The Warner Parks,” these two public parks, located nearly nine miles from downtown Nashville, make up 3,100 acres of forest and field space and attract nearly 1 million visitors annually with a wide array of outdoor recreational offerings including a nature center, dog park, multi-purpose trails, equestrian center and golf course.

URBAN DESIGN

The Nashville Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA): Serving riders in both Nashville and Davidson County, this public transportation agency offers an extensive fleet of buses and para transit services with nearly all routes serving Nashville’s downtown transit station, Music City Central — making it the largest agency in the nation to provide this type of localized service.

NIGHTLIFE

The District: This 20-block area of downtown encompasses both the culture and entertainment of this legendary “Music City” with an array of honky tonks, dive bars, live music and other staples of country music entertainment venues, packed within three historic districts.

5th Avenue of the Arts: Located off-Broadway and 5^th Avenue in downtown Nashville, this celebration of local artistic culture features several visual art galleries aligning a historic block including The Arts Company, The Rymer Gallery, and Tinney Contemporary.
