Salem, Utah, is in the Southeastern area of Utah County between Spanish Fork and Payson. It lies within the Nebo School District near the base of Mount Nebo. First settled in 1851 and incorporated as a town in 1886, Salem has long been associated with its deep roots as a farming community. Residents are known for being hardworking, neighborly, and adapting to the changes time has required of them. This charming community is 30 miles south of Lehi's Silicon Slopes, off State Highway 198. 

Salem Days stands out as a vibrant local festival, offering lively parades, rodeos, crafts, a home run derby, a 5K run, a car show, and more each July. Nature enthusiasts can explore the picturesque Santaquin Canyon for camping, wildlife watching, and outdoor adventures. Nearby, the Little Sahara National Recreation Area beckons with its expansive sand dunes, providing a unique landscape for exploration. Utah Lake, Mona Reservoir, and Yuba State Park offer scenic retreats for water activities.
