The region’s year-round pleasant weather offers unbounded access to hiking, swimming, boating, wind surfing, camping and fishing. The nearby San Joaquin River and California Delta offer over 1,000 miles of meandering waterways – setting the stage for unparalleled water activities. And if you’re looking for a getaway closer to home, Caswell State Park and Stanislaus River Parks are only minutes away. 

 

Tee it up at many of the area golf courses and play to your hearts content – 21 total courses within 19 miles of Manteca, according to Golflink. In addition, the region contains many of the country’s most well-known and revered courses - Pebble Beach and Monterey & Carmel courses, Sacramento and Napa area courses are also an excellent test.

 

In addition to local eateries and craft breweries bring that city vibes to the small town, Manteca is closely connected to three Northern California wine countries. Lodi Wine Country, home to over 70 wineries and over 100 years of winemaking tradition, is approximately 25 miles from the city.

Much-favored by those seeking a quieter pace outside of the East Bay area, Manteca goes big when it comes to entertainment and activities. Local favorites include Great Wolf Indoor Water Park, the Bowlero Bowling Centre and numerous regional golf courses. The Big League Dreams Sports Complex is home to soccer and baseball games year-round – perfect weekend fun for everyone.

 

The region also hosts Manteca Crossroads Watermelon Street Faire, one of the largest community gathering events in the area. Every June, enjoy over 275 vendors, food trucks, live music and a beer garden.
