Overview

Located between Atlanta and Athens, Snellville is a bustling suburb with small-town charm. The city received its charter from the General Assembly of the State of Georgia in 1923.

Trivia

In 2010, the city leaders of Snellville voted to adopt a new slogan. The previous slogan, "Snellville, where everybody is somebody," had been established 30 years prior. The current (latest) slogan is an evolution of the old and is "Snellville, where everybody is proud to be somebody."
