Visit Lincoln Memorial at Waterfront Park where you can also enjoy beautiful skyline views and scenic walks along the Ohio River. Test your strength and agility at Louisville Mega Cavern where you can zipline, participate in the ropes challenge, or relax on a tram tour of the manmade underground attraction. For the sports fans, a trip to the Louisville Slugger Museum is a must!

NIGHTLIFE

Fourth Street Live is Louisville’s unique open-air music venue surrounded by restaurants, nightlife establishments and a translucent canopy which lets the stars shine in while keeping the elements out. Sing along to live music at Howl at the Moon piano bar, bowl at The Sports and Social Club, or get competitive with friendly games of bocce ball, cornhole and more at Tavern on Fourth.

Museum Row on Main is a walkable five block area in downtown Louisville where you can experience a wide variety of history and activities for the whole family. Buy one ticket for entry into Frazier History Museum, Louisville Slugger Museum, Kentucky Science Center, Evan Williams Bourbon Experience, Muhammad Ali Center and Peerless Distilling Co. Art and design lovers also love the KMAC Museum which features intriguing exhibits.

KENTUCKY FOOD

Louisville is known for its comfort foods: the Hot Brown, fried chicken and rich Derby Pie. Those 21 and older can wash any of these local specialties down with bourbon, the unofficial state drink of Kentucky. With 37 distilleries in the city, you can sample the taste of Kentucky all along the Bourbon Trail.©

SPORTS IN LOUISVILLE

Louisville has an exciting sporting scene. The Derby City hosts teams such as the Louisville Cardinals, and Louisville Bats. Home to famous Churchill Downs, Louisville knows how to host a horse race! Visitors from all over the world dress up in colorful attire to enjoy the Kentucky Derby in the spring. Louisville also now has their first professional soccer club, Louisville City FC. If you are a soccer fan, you will love watching the FC play.
