Of course, enjoying the trails is only one of the many activities at the park. You can fish, geocache, enjoy one of the ranger programs, or stop by the Nature Center to learn more about the three ecosystems in the park and the various animals that make the park home. If you’re interested in stars, the park offers another unique experience. George Observatory is located in the park and is open to the public on Saturday evenings, providing access to research-grade telescopes and a stunning view of the stars and the universe.
