The shopping and Dining in Spanish Fort reflects the city itself. While there are large retail stores and national dining chains and two malls there are also an abundance of small quaint shops that reflect the small town roots of the area. Spanish Fort is a popular location for a day of shopping, dining, movies and other entertainment options!

If waterfront views, live entertainment and delicious food are what you are looking for than a stop on the causeway is in order. Tempting menus include the freshest seafood and many other delicious options to suit even the most discriminating diner.  Overlooking Mobile Bay and the surrounding wetlands, each location offers a fun and unique view of local wildlife, birds, alligators and a breathtaking sunsets.

Spirit Park

• Eight (8) lighted tennis courts;
• Three (3) multi-purposed fields to accommodate regulation softball and youth baseball, with climate-controlled press boxes;
• Concession stand;
• Picnic tables;
• Restroom facilities;
• Walking paths and sidewalks; and
• Ample parking throughout park.

The Fort - Spanish Fort Kids Park

The Fort is a fun, safe place where kids can use their imaginations and play for hours on end. Planning for the project was facilitated by a City program, “Together Let’s Build the Fort”. Constructed on City property located behind City Hall on Ember Lane and completed in 2002, this wonderful facility became a reality thanks to the involvement, dedication and volunteer labor of the Spanish Fort community and the generous funding from many contributors, both private and corporate.

Amenities at The Fort include:

• Expanded playground facility with separate section for children under 5-years
• Picnic tables
• Covered pavilion – may be reserved for private parties
• Restroom facilities
• Ample parking adjacent to the park
